National Trust, Fords, Paths, and Toilets

We've just put online a new release of our map tiles. We do new releases regularly, not least to pick up any changes in the data coming from OpenStreetMap and the latest updates from Ordnance Survey's OpenData programme.
This release also a number of changes, some resulting in feedback from users after our last release. The most significant are:
- We are now showing the boundaries of all National Trust land in England and Wales (not Scotland sadly, that data isn't available to us as yet) on zoom 8 and 9 with a graduated light purple border and the letters NT. See example of Burtness Wood on the south west side of Buttermere below.
- We are now showing the location of a lot more fords, about 10,000 in total. Again see the map above where there's a ford on the path above Burtness Wood.
- If a car park is at the start of a walk, or it has toilet facilities, or both, we are indicating that on the map with boot prints and a man/woman icon respectively. Here, for example, is the car park at the start of the path to Sandwood Bay in NW Scotland which also has toilet facilities.
These tiles are live so if you're using our tile server you will be seeing the updated tiles now.
